I am deeply passionate about improving access to healthcare and addressing health disparities. My work focuses on bridging the gap between the Rockwood community and Oregon Health Plan Insurance, providing education through the Tobacco Cessation Program, and promoting access to nutritious foods.

Anne-Marie supports the African community by assisting farmers and gardeners, connecting people to health services, and empowering individuals—especially single mothers and those with low incomes—to build confidence and independence.

"I am who I am because others helped me, so I always do my best to bring happiness to those around me," she says. Ann-Marie carries the wisdom of her grandmother, who always reminds her, "My children, be kind in all things. Wherever you go, you'll find family if you follow this advice."

Lung Wah supports our community health services including OHP, Covid wrap-around services, and educating Rockwood's lower-income families on the health impacts of tobacco through the Tobacco Cessation Program. He also supports the social determinants of health accelerator plans.

With a medical degree from Myanmar and his MBA in Management and Leadership, Lung Wah has a passion for public health. "With my experience in leading public health programs for Asian communities, I'm excited to bring that knowledge and passion to my new home of Rockwood."

Chau works with our tobacco cessation program, aiming to prevent and decrease tabaco use among the BIPOC community of Rockwood. Chau is excited to be working with an organization that shares her passion for advocacy and social justice.

I am a Certified Community Health Worker working with our Latino/Hispanic Community here in the Rockwood area. I come from an immigrant family which could have benefited a lot from these benefits we offer here at Rockwood CDC. That’s why I focus on being able to help our community by letting them know we’re here for them. I focus on helping people apply for the Oregon Health Plan Insurance. My focus is helping our community break the barriers to overall health.
